This rug measures 52" x 87", 1968 2nd Place Gallup Ceremonial ribbon, excellent condition by Master Weaver Margaret Yazzie.
It is a rare a wonderful occasion when one of the Master Weavers older pieces falls in our lap! We recently acquired this 1968 masterpiece by Margaret Yazzie. The generous negative space allows the double diamond layout to speak uninterruptedly. She only uses 5 colors but each choice adds to the simple, elegant effect.
